Who runs this
The Know-It-All Arms is a pub quiz game run by its team. To ask a question about your data, write to [email protected] [[email protected]: replace before launch].
What we store
- Your account e-mail, supplied by your sign-in provider. We support SSO only and do not collect passwords or send sign-in emails.
- Your rounds, with the answers you gave and your scores.
- Your challenges, when you invite a friend to play the same questions, with the scores.
If you play the daily quiz without signing in, we store nothing on our servers.
Why we store it
- To sign you in.
- To enforce the free limit of 3 rounds a day.
- To compare scores when you play a challenge.
- To improve question difficulty and spot unfair questions, using first answers from signed-in players. Repeated answers do not add extra votes.
No tracking, no advertising
There is no cross-site tracking, third-party analytics or advertising. We calculate question success rates from the signed-in rounds already stored for gameplay. We do not sell your data.
Who processes your data
- Supabase runs our database and sign-in. It is hosted in the EU region.
- Google, only if you choose to sign in with Google.
Legal basis and how long we keep it
Under the GDPR, we use your data to perform the service you asked for: signing you in and keeping your rounds, scores and challenges. We keep it until you delete your account.
How to delete your data
Sign in, open the menu and press Delete my account. This removes your account, your rounds, your scores and your challenges at once.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you the data we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You can also complain to your data protection authority if you think we have handled your data unfairly.
